Titanium Scale Knurling or Texturizing After the Fact?

Hi BF,
I have a question that I hope someone here might be able to help me with. I just recently bought a Quiet Carry IQ that has smooth titanium scales and want to add some texture to it. Is there an aftermarket service that someone could recommend?

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I'd think more in terms of bead-blasting the outer surfaces rather than something like knurling or checkering. It's my understanding that titanium is very hard to work. If you could find someone willing and able to do it I imagine it would be very expensive.

Bead-blasting is a lot easier and I'm sure there are a lot more people willing and able to do it. If you do a Google search for your area you might find bead-blasting services locally.

Well I just noticed that the IQ already has stonewashed and bead-blasted handle finishes (as well as some knurled models), so if you have one of those, there obviously wouldn't be any point in getting the handles bead-blasted (especially if they're already bead-blasted ).
