does anybody have any scraps of titanium which they would be willing to sell/trade/donate? i will be melting it down for casting so any little bits and pieces will be ok. i need about 30-40 grams of pure titanium or any of its alloys. thanks. i cant seem to find any retailers who sell such small amounts so if anybody could reccommend one then it would also be greatly appreciated. thank you.:)
 
I have 2 titanium hip joints I'd love to trade for almost anything, if your interested let me know and I'll email you a pic, these are some unusually shaped pieces.
 
I'd be interested in seeing those T, my dad had one put in this past christmas(finally fixing results of old motorcycle accident), would be itnerested in seeing what it looked like. Esp. after seein gthe bill for it. :) Glad we have insurance.
 
If you don't mind, could you send me some pics? I've got some titanium, but unfortunately the pieces are attached around my eye-socket. :D

I worked in a place where they, made military jet turbine blades, and

i'll be using an oxy-acetylene torch, i dont think the propane forge in my school will be hot enough. why? do you have any suggestions? any suggestions from anybody would be greatly appreciated.
