After doing some serious grinding today I needed to wind down so I decided to work on an old project, a titanium sword. :D

I'm thinking it needs a chamfered hole and a cord wrap handle. As an alternative I could do a black jade or some kind of nice stone handle.

What do you think about the sword and handle choice?

Looks good.

Go for a cord wrap.

I'd be interested to see how this would perform on light vegetation.

I don't like the chiol at all. It is a failure danger in a sword. I realize this is just a fantasy piece, but you never know when someone might "see if it will cut".

Definitely a bit thin there. That choil will likely break on the first hard swing. Just like on Knife Country when the cheaply made katana broke and stabbed the guy in the chest. You know, I don't think that guy's on the show anymore.

:D Dang, I've got the famous home shopping video on my thread, what have I done. :D

OK, I have to confess, it is not a sword. It isn't really a mini either, it is not to scale with the monster choil.

It weighs 8 grams, that's 2 grams heavier than a quarter!

My wife took this in hand shot, it is pretty small.

HAHAHAHA Wowww.
You got me there. You got me good.

Well hey, I had to see what everyone thought!

It is .090 so I can pretty much put all the force on it I want and it won't break. I was curious how strong it was with the choil. It would barely flex when I put enough force on it while buffing to almost stop the buffer! (not too smart there on the buffer safety, don't try this at home!)

I could just see it as a real sword, snapping right in half the first time I swung it!
