I'm a total neophyte, please explain this to me like I'm 5.
I recently picked up a Benchmade Anthem, and besides the dragon phallus of a pocket clip, the knife is actually pretty great.
However - the knife rides on bearings, which ride against the titanium frame - not against steel washers as it's customary.
What are the odds that with enough flipping, the bearings will grind a channel in the frame, damaging it in the process? Or, will the bearings "harden" the area they ride against?
How does any of this actually work?
