How is titanium with rust/corrosion resistance, compared to stainless fro insstance? I got a cuda dominator and it has titanium handle, i'm wondering if there are any steps i should take to prefent rust on the titanium part.

Thank you

Charlie

You don't need to worry about the Ti. Unless you work around certain corrosive chemicals, your Ti will not corrode. Ti is one of the most corrsion resistant metals.

Nice; that's what I thought, I just figured it would be a good idea to check with others, its an expensive knife.

A knife is not a toy...

I LOVE IT!! :D :D I just got into knives about a month ago at a gun show. I bought my 1st knife, an Al Mar Sere Operator. When I got home I did research via the web to see if I got a good deal. While doing this I found Cliff Stamps website where we traded e-mails about various stainless steels used in knife making, and I also found a link to this wonderful site. I have since fell in love with knives of all kinds, and have aquired a few over the past few weeks. I have a KABAR D2 Extreme Fighting, Al Mar SERE Operator, Buck 819 SS, and now a CUDA Dominator. I think my Dominator is my favorite, overtaking the KABAR. I love the tanto, combo edge, titanium handle, S30V, everything. How is yours, tanto or standard, serrated or no? Anyway; yeah, I really like the Dominator a lot, the ROBO is awsome, it locks up real good, no play at all in the blade, super sharp, everything you can ask for in a knife, and then some. I really like it a lot, enough to sit here and type all this! Twice!!! My damn cpu got a pop up or something  and re-routed me and all this was erased, about 2 minutes ago. Arrrrrgggghhh.

The only corrosion you're gonna get with Ti might be a very slight darkening of the metal, from a light grey to a darker grey color, and only if it's exposed to very acidic stuff for a long time.
