I'm making a three piece guard, titanium with stainless front and back. Can the titanium be anodized after it's assembled?

No. When you put the juice to it, the stainless will erode.

Cant the stainless (or non titanium parts) masked. Yes it has to be done carefully but it may work (IMHO)...

You can always reverse your polarity and use a brush with a metal ferrul to brush anodize the Ti once it is together. Just dont touch the stainless with the brush. The stainless conducts electricity too well compared to the Ti and will pop the breaker or fuse on your anodizer quick! Or worse...

I tried to pin together my first titanium bolstered knife and then anodize it... that was not too fun.
