I really like the simple and titanium look of the Sebenzas, but there is no way I'm going to pay that kind of price for a knife like that. I've been looking around for a gentleman-style kind of folder, but I love the look of the all titanium. I've seen the Sage 2, the Ti Military, both of the Bradley Alias knives, and alot more. I also found another knife made by Benchmade/Harley Davidson which was called the Nagara Nak Lok or something. I liked it, but I didn't like the huge "Harley Davidson" written down the side of the blade even though the knife was very affordable. Considering I don't want to spend $200+ on this knife, what titanium knives would you guys recommend for a EDC gentleman folder?

Thanks ahead of time. I'm open for any suggestions.

Look around, you may be able to find a Nagara without the H-D design, they come up for sale fairly often.

The A.G. Russell 3 inch Titanium Lockback is small (3 inches closed) but it would make a good gentleman's folder. Doesn't cost very much either.

Take a look at the Böker Plus Ti lockback. It's a larger knife, but has a clean and simple design, titanium scales, and costs easily under $50.

Try finding a Spyderco Lum in Titanium.. Not a very tactical looking folder, so gentleman esque? They probably can be found for less than 150, that price being the highest.

I have the BM Nagara, AG Russell lockback, and the Sage 2, all very nice gentleman type folders. I had a CS Titanium Ti-Lite for years.

Another very similar knife is the out of production Kershaw Titanium Wild Turkey w/ATS-34 blade. I recently picked up a nib one for $55. Lots of them around, a BF vendor had them in stock a few days ago.

like to add a few more: harley davidson ti-fender, boker titan subcom, boker albatross and boker epicenter

To Hank: The Chaparral is going to be released at some point in titanium.
To the OP: Benchmade 755 MPR is a small, tank like folder, with the looks that could work for a gentlmens or sheeple friendly knife.
Also if you look around you can get a Spyderco Sage 4 for less than $200. Which isn't a ti frame lock but has beautiful wood handles and titanium bolsters.
And finally the Spyderco UKPK is perfect for a gentlemen's knife. It's around 7" overall, full titanium handles, slip joint, good steel, awesome ergos, and just over all an awesome knife.
Or a Benchmade 790 Subrosa may work if you don't mind assisted knives.

I'm just throwing out a few ideas that you could toy with. If you really want all ti, then the UKPK or Subrosa would be the best suggestions that haven't been mentioned.

Good luck on your hunt for your ti knife!

Lol, I just pay very close attention to everything.
Well, that and I read a lot.

Anyways, yeah it's called the Spyderco Chaparral Titan Stealth. Comes with ti handles and CTS-XHP blade steel. Still has a wire clip and everything. I don't know a lot about it.

Here's a couple of stock pics I grabbed offline.

I got one of these the other other day.

It's a Boker Epicenter, a collaboration with Todd Rexford.

I paid less than $130 for it. Words can not describe how blown away I am with this knife.

The blade steel is VG10 , the ti frame is thicker and heavier than any knife I own.
Some earlier versions had a few QC issues , but mine is the latest run and it's perfect.

I borrowed a few pics, I haven't had a chance to take my own.
Check out the youtube reviews.

I love the Sage 2 and it's light/elegant enough to work as a gentleman's folder yet way sturdier than most in that class, it's my only Ti handle so far but it won't be my last.

That Boker looks great but maybe too big/thick for this sort of carry.

I'm looking forward to the Chaparral, especially in that Ti, cool pattern, I hope it won't be too pricey.

Wow that knife looks pretty cool... Never bought anything from Boker, though, but I don't think that'll be so much of a problem. Is the tip broken on the pictures you posted?
