Oh,oh... There's another tang stamp on the block!! :D:D

The newest trademark was released by Queen Cutlery and it's called Titusville Cutlery Co.

The "King Cotton" is the first release using this trademark and one or two found their way to my PO box courtesy of Cumberland Knife Works...:p:rolleyes: Here is the Abalone, Stag & Worm groove bone. Check out the great box design as well, the folks at Queen were doing their homework with this new tangstamp...:) There are supposed to be 4 to 6 new releases every year under this trademark.

Sunburst,Gorgeouus knives, thanks for showing them, your pictues are Fantastic!
I had a cotton sampler once,a Schatt,it had that hole in the handle
I started a couple of threads back then, asking what that hole was for.
I can't recall if I ever got a straight answer. Some said it was a lanyard hole, but IMO itwas a bit high for that.Do you,or anyone, have the answer to this ?
Thanks,
-Vince

Thank you Vince...I would have to agree that the hole is used for a lanyard. I agree it seems higher than most but a bigger loop would easily remedy that. I checked out my other cotton samplers and only the models based on this style have the holes. The Case collaborations, Kabars, vintage Schatt & Morgans and Fight'N Roosters I have owned do not have a hole in the handle. I'm thinking that someone thought it would be a nice touch to this body style..?

When I get the chance I'll try to research some more..Here's the last knife of the series; Amber Winterbottom..
