Tivo gurus: need your help

I have TivoToGo and it works fine. I tranfer a show to my PC and it becomes a *.tivo file. What software can I use to crop out a 4-minute segment from that tivo file? I've Googled this, but haven't found anything difinitive. Thanks much in advance.
