Marty contacted me quite a while back about doing a mod for him. He had a barlow that he wanted some work done on, but once I checked it out, we agreed that it wouldn't be worth the time. He instead chose a TL-29 mod.
He asked if I could post pictures for him...
So, this mod started out like most, using a TL-29 like this one, but newer...(file photo)

Marty gave me just about complete artistic freedom on this. He decided on a single blade, easy open with bottom bolsters. He also chose some amber wormgroove bone for the covers.
Okay, enough chat, time for the pictures...





This turned out to be one of my favorite builds. It's just got everythng I like in a traditional knife. I was sorry to see it go...
