Hello all!
Just found this sub-forum. I 'found' in my Dads workshop after he passed away one of his old knives, I remember this thing being around forever. It's been sitting in a drawer for a few years and I re-discovered it yesterday.
I'll post pics this evening or tomorrow, but it's in sad shape.
I have little knowledge of knives in general other than how to use them safely, but from what I read here earlier today this should be an older model as the bail pin is separate from the hinge pin.
The scales are cracked and missing some pieces, the main blade has very little of the original shape left (Dad wasn't particular about sharpening), and the secondary blade is discolored.
So. Are there replacement scales available? what about blades?
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Guess you could buy another on the bay and use it for parts. There are folks that rebuild knives but the parts are not available.

To have it repaired will probably cost you more than you would pay for a decent used one on the bay. If you want to fix it up because of its sentimental value there are a couple of guys I know that can do a real good job fixing your knife. One of the guys is repairing an old Barlow for me that was my father-in-laws and I want to keep it because he loved that old knife.
