are there any fakes of the tm using brass guard and handle hollow rivet?

Thanks for the reply UC. bought it off the forums here. I think that it is legit, but the markings have been wiped clean if there were any. It is getting hard to spot a fake and without the orig finish and markings it becomes harder. Works running me hard, but will try to get a good pic.

Looks like an authentic old Carbon-V model to me. The smaller shaped guard and older kraton handle. God knows why anyone would remove the markings though..

Looks legit to me and it looks like it has a very nice convexed edge. Nice score.

Thank you fellas. I think it probably had rust on the blade and he polished and sharpened the blade. I trust the guy I got it off of, although I would have liked to know the markings were gone. we can all be fooled. anyway, thanks again.
