This looks like a sweet knife. The blade style is very reminiscent of some TOPS offerings. Sheath looks very nice....Anyone know what kind of steel is used? I may have to snag one of these if the steel quality is reflective of the price... Any specs? blade thickness, etc.???

Thanks-
Cam

Orion,
i like the looks of this knife too, the design looks similiar to a custom Lightfoot Nightstrike. I have a dealer friend the told me the blade steel was 440C but I am not sure ( he was just repeating what a distributor told him).
I copied these specs off the internet;
Designed by famed knife maker Lightfoot, this top quality fixed blade is a great addition to the selection of tactical knives. The 6 inch blade is coated with a protective black bead blast layer. The construction is "full tang" and that tang is tapered towards the butt of the knife. The Zytel handle has rubber inserts for a better grip. Overall length is 11-3/4"
The sheath is reminiscent of the Spec War with a push button release for handle-down carry. The belt loop is large enough for any belt and there is a quick release below it to remove the sheath totally. An elaborate strap system allows for a multiple of carrying options.
This is truly a well conceived combat fixed blade.
Well, I hope this helps out a little bit. I am still undecided about that Green handle though....I will have to see one to decide.
thanks
woody
