Well just picked this beauty up yesterday. I had the urge to have a Sebenza in
my hands since I just recently sold my micarta 21 so I decided to go to
True North Knives and order this baby next day air. Cant say how much I
appreciate Neil and his great service and getting this baby out to me so quick.

I was plannnig on picking up another micarta but with plain edge this time but
instead was drawn to this tanto. And let me tell you, seeing this blade up close
I am truly amazed with this knife. Ive never seen a tanto design as well done
as Chris Reeve does it. The grinds on this blade are just perfect all around.
Sharpest knife Ive owned yet. Not sure why this version of the Sebenza doesnt
get more attention. It might be one of those you have to have it your hands to
realize.

Im going to make this a user and so I will get to see how the tanto blade
performs with everyday cutting tasks. Theres even a llittle bit of belly on this
blade and the tip looks to be super strong.

If anyones deciding on what sebbie to get Id say try the tanto. Not many
people have this version. Its nice to have something different from the normal
blue stud sand blasted Sebenza.

Great looking blade!

I dig the looks of a tanto, but find more utility out of a blade with a little bellie towards the tip. This is why I like the 21 and Insingno.

Can definitely use a Tanto for edc, but prefer the 21 or [although haven't tried, just know] the Insingno. The Tanto Seb doesdefinitely make a more effective SD knife though!

Yea. Definatley a proven self defense design. I still plan on picking up a 21
micarta with regular blade and then a umnum... then maybe a minandi...
geez looks like I got the fever:o

By the way I saw your vid on the carbon fiber scale that Peter R made for you.
Such a great mod to do because you can always take it off and retain the original
knife. Ill have to look into getting a scale done for my 21.

haha It's sad, because it's a fever that NEVER goes away! :(:):D:thumbup:

It is a lot of fun switching between the CF and Ti scales!
When feeling fancy CF looks stunning and lightens the knife a LOT. When feeling for the classic look, the satisfaction of a full Ti handled knife and it's satisfying heft gives ambient joy.

I can't wait to get my CRK tanto seb how are you liking your so far?

Its a great knife. I love the looks of the knife with the silver accents and even
the lanyard. In hand the knife definately feels alot different from the micarta.
Havent really tested the blade but have done some cut tests. The hairs on
my arm literally jump off when I slide the blade across. Its a great alternative
to the normal everyday sebenza.

I just got mine today, and was very surprised at how much belly this tanto blade has it's wild I will have a review via youtube coming soon ......

I have a TNK tanto umnumzaan and EDC it often. It has the same tanto grind as your Sebenza. I love mine.

Just got another one too. I just couldn`t bring myself to carry the first one that I bought last year. So I got another one for EDC. Yes, I have issues. :p

I'm carrying mine today and I'm loving every minute of it . In fact I split my finger open today with it .Work bought lunch today from Texas Roadhouse, and I was showing off while cutting my potato with my $400 folder BOOM slip ouch blood spraying on peoples faces !:barf: It's was brutally awesome . I said but it's made in Idaho as my boss is yelling at me:)

I carry mine everday but havent really used it. I carry it in the leather slip
pouch so its still flawless. I just cant get myself to use this one. Its turned
out to be my favortie. I really love the blade profile. I want to try the
Insigno sebbie as I think I will like that one too.

Fear not- I got your knife all packed up and it is at the door waiting for UPS to pick it up tomorrow afternoon.

So, your wait will be over around 10am on Thursday!

Off to California in a few hours to visit some folks down there and then I will be in Boise to visit with the Reeve family for a few days.

Thanks and best regards, Neil
