Does anyone have photos of Mayo TnT's showing the difference between clip and drop point?

Is there a consensus as to what people prefer?

Thanks, protodoc

Thanks for the link to his Tom's site.

I guess my question is embarrassingly rudimentary:

Which of the TnT's on his site have drop points and which have clip points. They are not labeled and I am unclear on the nomenclature of blade shapes.

I've only ever seen clip-point TnT's on his "for sale" page. Never on the examples pages.

I _MUCH_ prefer the clip-point recurve to the drop-point recurve.

There are now clip points on pages 1 & 2 of his TNT "example" page. Perhaps they have changed since your last visit:).

I agree with you on the recurve:D.

Thanks everyone, I got it now.

I have a drop point on order from Tom and just wanted to double check that it really is what I thought it would be. I read in some thread about the clip point TnT and got confused.

It is the drop point I like best. So, no need to send Tom yet another email. He has been soooo patient with me but I have the feeling that if I bug him again I will drop back down to the bottom of the wait list.

Yeah, I try not to bug him about the clip-point recurve he's doing for me.

I played HELL trying to figure out what I wanted. I kept saying "pointy" recurve -- not like the ones on the old examples page -- more like a BM710.

I also couldn't decide between medium & large. He finally posted a pic of a clip-point and I went "that's IT! that's what I've been asking for". Problem solved.

Then I "decided" on a size somewhere between medium & large. Another problem solved.

Now it's just the waiting...

Mike

Yep, its lonely down here at the bottom of the "bug Mayo and get dropped to the bottom of the wait list" crowd:D

I bug him all the time and my delivery date keeps getting moved further and further and further back......just can't learn to stop bugging him;)

"When's my wood handled TNT gonna be finished" - me

"How about never" - Mayo

Good thing I already have one.

Mayo, good quote. I was listening to that when I called and "bugged ya" last week. "Waiting for the Man" - Velvet Underground and Nico. That album rocks!!!
