TNT Scrapyard Sword!!! (Just another TNT post)

Man, I've always thought about them but was intent that picking up a Hog Nose would fulfill that void. But pass on this offer? HELL no - Really? a 101 sword for less than I've paid for some quite exceptional Scotch? ~ My mama didn't raise no fool. This one was so simple I can't believe anyone was on any damn fence.

I might add, that I still intend to add a Hog Nose just in case anyone has lost their affections for theirs collecting dust in a closet somewhere in the house, that you're actually unsure of exactly which one that would be.

Hmm I may have an "Extra" one hmm.

My first ever Busse/ Kin ordered was a Swamprat Rodent Rucki. That sword took forever to receive! Between order and receipt of the Rucki I got my feet wet with a Ratmandu and a FBM. So technically the Ratmandu was my first Busse Kin. It was the sword that brought me to the party. The AK47 was the next must have sword. This was a couple years ago, and both those swords were a regular offering. My next sword didn’t come till a while later, when I found a sweet mint Swamprat Waki on the exchange. So with the 3 swords my sword collection seamed complete........ for the time being. I recently brought the swords to my brother in laws house to play with before he went off to the Navy. We had a blast!!!! Slicing all kinds of fruits and veggies. We also lined up the water bottles for a slice. We felt like kids again! I think the Waki was the favorite of both of ours. I recently reduced my Knife collection substantially. The swords are keepers! I don’t even get tempted to sell the swords. So needless to say. I’m very excited to add a new model to the collection!

Well how about that, Hmmmm....this has all the makings of a story with a happy ending

JACKMANDU JACKMANDU You've got a couple highly sought after pieces there  Those absolutely have a sustainable strength of value with certainty of growth.
Already thinking of how to set up water bottles and other things....now that you planted those seeds

I just can’t decide stripped or coated.

Stripped is purty from the factory - but a PITA to keep nice

Coated - start slamming it into stuff and don’t worry.

Come on now, you're stressing and overlooking the simplest and easiest solution and this all goes away as if it never existed! You know the answer! Look, how many hands do you have? 2 right? how many swords go into 1 hand? 1 sword! ... bro, only live once man, and that's a big deal. ;)

I found that my green waste can is the perfect platform to set targets. It is tall enough that you aren’t bending down too much. Table height is a little low. The large garbage bin also deflected blows that had to much downward trajectory. I would recommend a large tarp under your garbage can. You could also use a large plastic container turned upside down on top of a fold up table. The key is to shop for the occasion. Buy more than you think you will need. Targets get destroyed in a hurry! Watermelons, cantaloupe, apples, water bottles. Load up a cart! Apples are fun to line up about 6 in a row. If you can get a perfectly flat swing and hit your target, it’s awesome! Most new I-phones can record in slow-mo. Have a family member record as much as possible. You will enjoy watching the movies almost as much as making them.

Haha, will admit to a disturbing moment of sobriety last night where I regarded my fine Swamp Rucki in hand and debated whether to place an order….

Thankfully the moment was fleeting and I quickly remembered that The Wise Man has no regerts, and also a Raw Dog TNT to go with his Rucki.

What are those going for these days?

I've left SR101 covered in pine sap, in a wet sheath, in the back of a truck, for weeks. Little discoloration, and after years some minor pitting. If I'd tried at all to prevent it, would have been easily done. Or just soak it in instant coffee for a few days

I had never heard of the Hog Nose had to look it up. Hot Damn. This is what happens when you take hiatuses. Started collecting Busse and Kin in 2011. I’ve had some nice pieces that I’ve had to let go over the years due to being hurt and out of work on disability. To mitigate the anguish of not being able to buy knives I take long breaks from coming here lol. I’ve missed so much cool shit
