O.K. , I finally found the gumption to take a stab at this project. I really didn't have a design in mind for this sheath other than a basic rectangle box , but through the power of persevering through my mistakes, the design evolved into this...Creation.

This sheath is made out of White Oak, Black Walnut & Madrona for the plug at the tip.

As I said before this design was ever evolving as I made it, hence why you can see the screws coming out of the back side at the top.

Originally this handle spot had holes for tying down paracord, but they came out a little un even so I decided to cut them out and take off some more weight to the sheath while I was at it. & I'm glad I did because I really like the finger grooves on this thing! Kinda looks like a bird doesn't it?

The New Trick sheath has a Hidden Trick of it's own too...it doubles as a stand for itself looool. The " Night Eyes GearTie" that I used for securing the blade to the sheath is strong enough to keep the sheath and the sword tilted on it's side for display.

On it's bottom side..

Or flipped over on it's top.

I got a little lazy with the paracord handle as I all ready had this one made from another project & it fit well for this & feels great on the belt @ waist side.. Other wise I would have done a color matching cream/dark blue ( looks black ) new one...maybe one day. You can also carry it on the sling wrapped around it in this photo which is really convenient & makes you feel like General Custer :").

Shout out to Busse, The TnT 15 is a killer fun blade to swing around!

Your perseverance paid off! Great work!!
To my eyes, the finger grooves almost make it look like a key. I’d call it The Master Key.

Thank you all for the kind responses.

You're right! I didn't see the key. I like "The Master Key" it's wayyyy more commanding sounding than " A Flock of Seagulls " I guess. lolol.

Next up, A sheath for The Silent Knight. :'')
