Copfish, you must have gotten one of the first of what I am sure will be many many. That is quite simply one of the best thought-out and executed knife designs I've ever seen. Tom really rung the bell on this one.

Shoot -- when Joe said it was an interesting background I wuz hopin it'd be a nekkid lady.

Why don't more people use nekkid ladies as backgrounds for their knife pictures???

We could use a few nekkid gentlemen for the lady forumites to appreciate, too ... I guess we have about 0.1% lady members, so 0.1% of the knife pictures posted should have nekkid gentlemen for backgrounds ... the rest nekkid ladies....

Fantastic kife but how did you drag Tom away from all his contests to make it for you?

Johns knife is serial number 001. I made one before it to get my bearings and marked that one prototype...sold it to a good customer before it was half finished. If you check my TNT page on my website you will see that this is the large JF model...named in honor of John Fisher who got me started on this whole project back in November or Dec when I made two tanto blade ti and talonite folders for Ray in Austria. John saw those and wanted something along the lines of Chris' large knife in Talonite...I had to think long and hard about it for a while (thats a knifemakers line for not doing anything while taking your money) and came up with this look...I am super excited about it... I have put in some features that make them strong as a tank and super simple....I use .156" talonite for strength and thick titanium so I can contour the whole knife from the front as well as radius all the corners from the inside (thanks Ken)... It feels great in your hand....has just the right weight, and looks like a million bucks.. Have some damasteel coming and some 420V in .156" for some DMTs and VNTs, also have bruce shaw and jim sorenberger lined up to engrave a few......still havent established a price as every time i start making one i come up with new ideas and spend about 3 or 4 hours extra making a jig or trying something new.....today I am finishing the first superlite mini...made from .125 ti and talonite...and it is super light....thanks for all the nice words...will have more pics soon...sincerely, tom
