Well I am Retiring after 20 years in the Army, I had to use my Leatherman ST300 today to help me take apart my TA-50 for the last time. This was bitter sweet time for me, knowing this is the last time I will have to take this stuff apart and clean it.

My thanks to Leatherman, a Leatherman has been with me in some version since I joined the Army. I was introduced to Leathermans by an NCO at my first duty assignment and have had one since. A leatherman has been with me to Asia, Panama, Iraq and Afghanistan and so many places in the States.

I will take away some things from the Army, one is to always have a Leatherman around.

Well, the good thing is that you can continue to carry your Leatherman for as long as you want!

Thanks for your service!

Great post, RickJ ...... and a great testament to Leatherman tools. Thanks for your service, and best of luck in the next phase of your life!

RickJ - thanks for your service, and enjoy your retirement. Now take that Leatherman out & let it clean some fish & build a campsite or two!
