Does Buck sell just the empty knife boxes? A large part of my collection is made up of NIB knives but of course I still have many knives the were purchased without. It is a storage problem, particularly for me given the size of my collection. What solution have others of you found for fixed blade knives with a sheath? Small knives are not so much of a problem but lets say a 100 series fixed blade, a box that would fit that. I bet I could come up with 100+ without boxes if I went thru the drawers. A knife in a box can be shelved and labeled for better organization. A 2 piece box would be wonderful, the end opening boxes do not wear well but better than nothing.

I always used trading card boxes when I was buying and selling knives.
Big enough to put fixed blades with or without their boxes in them in most cases.
Great because all boxes were the same size and stacked knice when the knife boxes were rarely the same.
Then when I sold one, I could just use it as a shipping box.
Not these specific boxes, but you get the idea.

MT_Pokt has a great idea. Probably the cheapest you’ll find boxes like those, or any other, is Uline. You can search by your desired dimensions. They have over 1700 sizes.

call customer service and ask them!!

i use sports card boxes also...im sure your city has a baseball card store...thats where i go--i use 550 and 660 and 800 boxes fit most any buck knife you have. And they are solid secure-stack em 50 high and they wont crush...cost about $1.00 each...

I'm not against the idea of buying official boxes, but would having official boxes make the counterfeits that much hard to spot?
