The wake-up finally came. Freedom at last. Now the question is to Blade or not to Blade? Whether it is nobler to to travel the 1 thousand plus miles only to squander money on sculptured steel slabs or to stay at home and set aside the money in a nest egg for the future? But what is the future anyway?? Is it guaranteed to anyone? What to do? What to do?

If I had the $$$ I would go in a heart beat! I have the cash to get there, but not enough to bring anything home. I just don't think I could take it.

You've got school to think of also. That will take up alot of your time and finances. Hope you are able to access some student grants or loans.:) :)

And, when you get your license, don't rule out mental health. It can be very rewarding.

I really think that I will either go to the ER or be a psych Nurse.

I know that the grants are not an option. But I am going to try to get a student loan, that would take a lot of pressure off of things. I can't apply at the school until sometime in July. They have to go to some classes on loan processing or something, so we'll have to assume that we will have to pay it all, but who knows, I might get lucky.

I live about 250 miles from Atlanta and I'm gonna beg borrow or steal enough money to go to Blade and buy a few fine, collectable knives. Maybe a couple hard working users too. About any knife maker who is somebody will be there and they invited Jerry too! :p Seriously though I want to see all of the new lines coming out at Blade. I went last year and stayed all 3 days and didn't see it all. It is so much NOT like a Gun and Knife show. A bunch of real knife knuts walking around in a blade induced haze is something to see and be part of so if you have the time and can get the money go there and you won't be sorry.

Jerry, you know I'm just kidding don't you? Don't cut me off from the INFI pleeeaase!

I've tried to get to Blade for four years now, every single fricking year something happens in the family or at work that stops me from going. This year things seem to perfect which probably means I'll drop dead on June 12 from unknown causes, lol :)

Where was I going with this? ....start trying and planning now, you won't make it for several years :D

DN, I think you'll actually make it this year, but you'll hurt yourself drooling over the M.O.A.B. ;)

I better buy it before you make it to the Busse booth just to save you that embarassment.

Boy, I don't know DM. these southern guys don't take well to us yankees invading their homelands. Will we northerners be safe way down there??

Eh, if I was just to guess, I'd say you'll be safe as long as you stay near the INFI. After all, Jerry's from yankee territory, and he's made it home from every Blade he's gone to so far. :D

Zal, no kidding!! :) I'm going to get eternal drymouth if I drool anymore, LOL :D

KX1A, Shhhh...the trick is to not let them know we're from the north ;)

Well, I am from the southern part of Wethersfield and I do have family in Sumter, SC
