To beadblast or not....

I've always liked the look of a well done bead blast and since I've put a mini grip together with custom scales I thought about bead blasting the blade. I am satisfied with 154CM and the shape of the stock blade.
A co-worker has a professional machine in his shop and has offered to do it. I figure that's probably a better bet than some pebbles and a pop bottle! There's no going back really so I'm mulling it over..

i have a few glass beaded blades and i like how they look and its easy to touch up if you get any marks on the blade. just make sure to tape over the area where the washers lay with heavy tape to protect the polished surface.

It really depends on your personal preference, compare some knives in your collection with a similar finish as the griptilian and compare it to some bead blasted knives. If it turns out bad, on YouTube some people show how to polish a bead blasted blade. Keep in kind that bead blasting opens up the pores of the metal to make it less corrosion resistant.

Sure, why not? If you like bead blasting, bead blast it. If you don't like the way the bead blasting looks, you can always stone wash it afterwards...

I think with these particular scales I'll stick with a "shinier" look. Bead blasted blades have their place but it's a bit to tactical for this knife. Now stonewashed might be a different thing....
