Speaking of my BM 975 pe, ats34 original issue folder. Have the box for this one and a 970 same same. Carry the smaller version on ocassion. Is the 975 worth preserving the mintness of the knife or should I just carry it? Current edc has been my Caledonian. What do you all think? keepem sharp and thanks

I decided to upgrade to Sebenzas a couple years ago. Great, but I never carried them, I was afraid they would get messed up. A few scratches later, and they are my favorites.

I just can't keep a knife mint! That's why I don't consider myself a collector, I'm just a hoarder. 
I get more pleasure from using knives than from just collecting them, so I do what makes me happy. My dad has a nice knife collection, but he keeps all of them but one or two in their original boxes in his safe. That's what he enjoys, to each his own.

i would probably keep one in LNIB shape, the 2 arent very much different really, me, i would have kept both in LNIB shape and bought a EKI '7 which i prefer over the BM ones, but just depends on what ya wanna do.
either one is kinda desireable (but not that much) and if ya do use them they lose a lotta value, which might or might not matter to ya.
like i said just depends.
