I've been going back and forth with this Edgepro Beveltech and this TSprof K03. It's been pretty difficult to pick one so far.

I'm sharpening a variety of kitchen and pocket knives.

Do you have a preference for table based or clamp based guided sharpeners? And which ones do you like and why?

They each have their own advantages and issues… but I think your needs could probably be addressed by purchasing the TSprof K03 along with the Leading Edge Core Upgrade.

I use my KO3 Pro Hunter for every knife I own, small folders/fixed blades, normal sized folders/fixed blades, and large kitchen knives - I have added several different clamps to it, but the L-adapters seem to be the best add-on as it allows both smaller and larger blades to be clamped with ease.

Table, way less stuff to move when sharpening making them stiffer/ more repeatable, which, to me, is everything in a guided sharpener. Of course the devil is in the details and I am only responding to your last two sentences.

This is what I did. If the knife has flats that I can clamp, I clamp it. I'll disassemble to get to the flats if I need to. If not, I'll mount to on the magnetic table. I've done a lot of kitchen and small traditional folders that way.

That really depends on the knife grind and size. It's worth having both clamps and a platform for versatility.

As an alternative, best of both worlds, Hapstone R2 and get the extendable magnetic table attachment. 2 screws and you switch between the clamp or table depending on your needs.
