STR does not think the low rider pocket clip works well with the Emerson Opener.
 
why is that...when I pretend like I have a low clip ( I insert the knife totaly in my pocket then wave it)...I have no problem working it!.....the only problem I see is how to drill 3 holes to screw the clip without making the clip to weak.....

I dont see any low rider clip with 3 holes ....only regular titanium ones....where is Ernie ? btw thanks Hammer!

They fit Emersons, just with 2 screws. These are directly available, can be mounted right to your Emerson, and come in a variety of shapes.

I have one on my A-100 and did have it on my CQC-14 (been using no clip on it). Its great for these knives as I carry either of these when I go out and don't want to attract attention. However, the standard clip is more ergonomic and easier to draw the knife with, pros and cons.
 
I have the low rider clip, but I use them on my Benchmade knives when I need a really discrete carry. The Wave definitely does not work as well.
 
in order to use the wave with 100% accuracy you have to twist the knife a little bit ...
 
I should have gone into more detail. It's more difficult for me to wave with a deep carry clip because I can't get a full grip on the Emerson since doesn't stick out of my pocket. I find that I have to readjust my grip as the handle starts to clear the pocket before I can get it into position to wave. I don't have to readjust at all with the standard clip.
 
you have a point there....but sometimes its good to be in a low profile mode....like when you walk with your wifey downtown or ....at work!
 
today the clip came in....well ....I put it on the commander.... doesn't fit to well on it, the wave worked ok but it was a longer pull...not as quick as the original.....and also it does not feel right in the hand....the re-curve of the clip doesn't clear the knife all the way....you still can see the tip hanging out of the pocket....

on the cqc 15..the knife drop more in the pocket but doesn't feel right again in the palm of the hand.....not comfortable!

finally I tried on the 7....a lot better ...but not to my satisfaction.....

well my verdict is....its a great invention but still needs to be perfected for Emerson knives (like a prototype).

usaknifemakers provided me with an exquisite ti clip....top of the line product ...no flaws there(these guys live up to their reputation.)..the thing is that Emerson designs aren't made for these clips....(something sir Ernie should consider)...

and yes it fits good on benchmades
