I need a little help. I have made 8 knives so far and until now I have only sanded my blades to about 400/600 grit and I have been using some letter marking stamps to put my initials as my mark. I have since built a electro marker (thanks Chris Crawford) ...and have all the etch , cleaner, and stencils. I have learned to use it and have done alot of searches on bladeforums to learn more.....All of my blades have been differentially (spelling?) heat treated but I have never tried to etch the blade to get the hamon to appear. I have searched this subject on blade forums also. Which brings me to my question. In what order do I do this. Do I etch the blade (FeCl etc...) and then use the electo marker or the other way around. All my blade material has been O1. I have learned so much and still there is so much to learn ...seems never ending. I am in nursing school now so I only get to "blade" every so often...but I love it. Thanks guys.

You'll want to do any and all blade finishing before applying your logo. Otherwise, you're lkely to screw up your logo with any finishing steps you take afterwards.
