About 2 years ago I found some old knives from my dad and granddad on the attic of my mum's
I decided to make a little space in my display to honour both men who had a great infulence on my life.

Maybe it would be nice if you show them to if you have them; special knives of special people you keep for rememberence.

First 2 pics and knives are from my dad's and the right pic and knives my granddad.
Pic in the middle are my dad and I during visiting weekend of my mandatory military stint in Germany a good 25 years ago.

That's a real nice tribute. I have some knives of my dad's and his dad. I hadn't thought of displaying them, but that might make a nice project in the future. One I can think of right now would be to make a display containing the PSK my dad used during his EOD days, and the engraved Camillus fixed blade his group gave him when he retired. Thanks for the inspiration.

This was my Grandfathers and the only one I have of his. One of the scales was broken off and wanted the original knife and Victorinox's policies were a bit weird so I just fixed it myself. Smooth bone and stag with leather spacers. I really don't carry this knife enough and am really glad to have it.

this is a great idea. I have a couple of knives from my grandfathers, and I should do this too. :)

Great tribute, such a nice display! I see that you father and grandfather were sodbuster users, great taste:thumbup:

Is that a full size tinker?

Very nice remembrance. I have a couple from my father and one from my grandfather and it always brings a smile when I look at them.

Funny, as when we were going thru things after my father passed, I found a couple knives I had given him that were still NIB. He would always just carry one knife until it was pretty worn & sharpened out before he went to a new one.

I have a hard time just carrying just one knife for more than one day in a row.

Good job with your setup!

Seeing threads like this make me wish my dad or granddad had an interest in pocket knives. I am the first in my lineage that I know of to have an interest in knives. Newbie in more than one definition I suppose. I really like the idea that you have done. Thank you for sharing.
