Hey Jai,

I was reading a thread from a while ago where you said you had villagified some of your kuk's and were interested in restoring them to there original finish. I don't know where you are with this project but I was thinking how great it might look to polish only the fullers and leave the upper surfaces brushed or satin or whatever. The depressed areas of the fullers would be spared some of the wear and tear of use and might be easily maintained.

I think it would look classy.

hello willieboy.... how far am i with this project? lol, no very far :D :thumbup:
i learned its very difficult if not impossible to get the magic mirror finish back onto a villagerized khuk... my kumar karda and kh cak both have a aluminum foil finish now LOL :rolleyes:

it would be cool just to polish the fullers to a high gloss but it seems pretty difficult im no sure how it would be done...

lets see what others have to say about the topic :)
 
depending on the depth and width of the fuller?

Use your finger to give it that 'round" look and use sandpaper..Work up to the highest grip and then polish with OOSteelwool and the flitz or semichrome

how does that sound?? or do I need a nap?
