To lanyard or not to lanyard

I got my first Sebi about three weeks ago and have been self debating about the lanyard. I finally decided to keep the lanyard but ditch the pocket clip and get one of the CRK pocket sheaths. I like this set up. It's how I'm going to roll, at least for now.

Sounds like a decision has been made! Either method of carry is fine. I'm not a fan of lanyards myself when it comes to the ones I carry on a daily basis, but that's just me. I like being able to reach down and already have my hand on the knife and be able to open it instantly. Whereas with the lanyards, you have to pull the lanyard to get the knife out and then reposition your hand to be able to open it. There are days where I may use a knife 100 times and I don't feel like having to fool with a lanyard.

I always use a lanyard, I just like one a little longer than stock, and I also remove the lanyard swivel, and tie directly through the hole, ( prefer it from using Regulars) That way I can tuck the lanyard inside my pocket when I don't want it as visible. Speed is not important to me. That's what strong side Wilson .45 is for!Easy to find it in the dark or without looking...

I removed my lanyard+pin on my 21. It's nice and somehow feels better to me without the lanyard.
But... I may add a leather lanyard and see how I feel about it.

Only had my three Seb's about one month now, but carry daily. Find the lanyard a distraction. They're gonzo. Have a great weekend...;-)
