To Mag or not to Mag, that is the question?

So I'm working on what I'm going to order and the CG is thick so I'm not too sure if I should go with the mag handle. I do have large hands.

What do you Hog's who know better think?

I have mags on my FFBM there not bad , but I went with standard G-10 on the ASH. I think it will be easier to handle for a smaller knife.

It's a really subjective thing. I have large hands also, so you'd think I'd like mags across the boards. But I really prefer the standard handles on almost everything. There are folks who have small/medium sized hands who love the mags.

My solution to such predicaments is to get both!:thumbup:

I have small hands with smallish fingers and the mags make my knife enjoyment easier; your larger hands may benefit for standard scales.

I have found that the Mags are more comfortable than the Standards on any of the models offered with the option.

I have also considered the thicker stock, thinner scales perspective but I always end up going back to the Mags for a user.
Whether it was a FFFBM or CGFBM, HOGFSH or a CGFSH, Fat SFNO or standard SFNO, BATACLE/SE or CGBATAC, the Mags were always my favorite.

I don't mean to generalize, but I would recommend that if the Mags are prefered on other models go with them.

I have a feeling that mags on another .320" thick piece of INFI would be just as horrible as the mags on the FFFBM for my average to small hands... like holding golf balls...

But the mags on my FBM feels like heaven...

let's hope I'm wrong.

Mags on the CG will feel like the FBM LE, right? FBM = 0.312" with Tiger MAGS... that feels amazing to me, so I went with mags on the CG ASH1
