I'm moving back to beautifil Minnesota. I'll be living about 10 minutes from down town St. Paul. Do any of you guys know about a good knife shop? Good prices, good people? Good brands? It'd help if it's a knife shop and not a surplus/gun shop with a knife selection. Though I'll take it, if that's all you can think of.

The best place to see a great selection up here with decent prices is a Minnesota Weapons Collectors show.

Most of the dealers will be more inclined to give you a deal if you are there when the big crowds aren't, just food for thought.

As for brick and mortar you'll find decent selections at Cabelas, REI, Gander, Midwest Mountaineering, and a couple of the LE shops. Retail prices apply.
 
Thanks for that info Helle. I haven't been able to find many good knife stores around here either. I'm in Minneapolis. I've made a couple of purchases from Cabella's up in Rogers but that's about it. It's all online for me now....
 
Sportsman's Warehouse in Woodbury isn't too bad. They have about the best selection, but the prices are near MSRP. They do, however, run very good clearance deals once or twice a year.
