She got used a lot this winter. put her away and the spring time past... now summer, i took a look and.........

I forgot to wipe my BK9 down once, and it was rusted the next day. Nothing a little 3 in 1 oil, and a scotchbrite pad couldn't fix.

I left my 9 stuck in a large limb I hacked through for 3 days. Same method you did and she looked brand new.
