To oil or not to oil...

That is the question? Knife is a BM523SBK. Is it a good idea or is it just going to gum up with lint etc.? Trying to get it to smooth out but don't really want to loosen the bolt.

If you don't like your knives to be oily you can try White Lightning, which is wax in a solvent that dries off in a couple of minutes. May not be completely on par with high-performance synthetic oils but it works very well for me.

Did I mention it's completely dry? :) No lint-attraction at all. Great stuff.
