To Preorder Or Not To Preorder

Pondering over the idea of preordering the 0566 and maybe the thermite or rexford collaboration.
The site I was planning on getting them from doesn't require any extra payments, so am I just silly for not doing it yet?
Or maybe it's better to wait and shop around for a better deal when they come out?
 
I preordered the thermite and cryo II. I just signed up for an email on the 566. I figured I would probably just forget about the preorders and be surprised when I got the shipping email. I didn't want to just forget about the 566 considering the price. I may put in a preorder for the injection. Kinda like that one as well. Good luck on deciding.
 
I put in a preorder for both the thermite and ZT 0566. I really thought about the cryo II but decided against it because it is so similar to the 0566
 
Preorder. Even if you have to spend a few bucks now to get a place in line, at least you HAVE a place in line.
 
Yes they do, the first 500 of a new knife say 1 of 500 on them. At least I know some have so I believe all have a first production run. Don't take my belief as certainty though.

I put myself in line on a few pre orders, honestly I am hoping they come out one at a time to soften the blows to the bank account. If the three new zt's and the 560cbcf come out at the same time I am going to be living in a box next to work as I will have no home or transportation lol.
 
I personally will not be pre-ordering since these will be regular production. I'm also assuming Kershawguy will have great deals on these soon enough. If you must have it the first day you better hop on the train before you miss it! I'll catch the next wave a few months later when dealers and secondary market sellers have no leverage on these reg production models.

Sign me up for a cbcf pre-order though, hehe... I'll pay for two right now.
 
Not usually the preorder type but I had to preorder the Thermite. I haven't bought a blade in a while and I figured reserving a future beater couldn't hurt. I won't be billed until the blade ships anyway. Its really just the knife nut in me looking for some new knife relief.
 
I pre-ordered the Thermite and Cyro 2..Why not under 100 bucks for the both of them ..But that's all i'll preorder
 
i just preordered a thermite, 0566, and 801...plus I just got a shipping notice that my camp 10 is on the way!!!
 
I pre-orderd the 0560CF, 0566 ,and 801. Now I will just sit back and wait and eat some Malt-o- Meal..Yep, I think I'm liking the Made in The Beaver State USA ZT 2013 line up.Good S**t Maynard!

You were able to preorder the cbcf while it was open? You lucky dawg!
 
No 2013 knives for me. Spent way too much in the last 6 weeks on discontinues/limited run grails. Should have at least a couple of the ZT LE knives comming when they get released.

Not very confident on the 0560CBCF even though I ordered one, it was from the famous site that keeps their pre-orders long after their quota has been spoken for.
 
It all depends we don't know how many are being made but if they do a run of like 1000 I bet they will be attainable.
 
1000 pieces. Yes there are dealers that don't do pre-orders, they announce when they get them in. So if one happens to be on line at the right time and is fast enough...boom...score.
 
I think if 1000 are made we will have at least a few days of opportunity to get one, It's an expensive knife not as many people can make a play for it.

That is why I am hesitant to pull the trigger on them. If it was any other dealer I'd have no reservations ordering one.
