To repair or not repair. That actually is the question.

Quick and easy question. I have a large Case Stockman. I got it in a trade recently and it is in like new condition. The center blade (warncliffe) has very noticable up and down and slight side to side blade play. Do you think it is worth going through the hassle of sending it to Case? :confused:I was thinking about ignoring the imperfection because I wasn't confident that this would/could be fixed. Is this considered normal wear and tear? My other three new Cases are all tight. If it was a locking folder I would definately send it in. Any thoughts or experiances with case blade play repair would be appreciated. Thanks Mike.:)

Yep, go ahead and send it in; Case will take care of you. Just make sure to include a note detailing what you'd like them to do, or you risk having your knife replaced instead of repaired.

I got the stockman back today and the play has been decreased to almost to nothing. Just a small amount of side to side. It is nice and shiny. I'm not sure if the blades were sharpened. It took about 3 weeks.
