HI Sal,

I was wondering when you plan on having your next factory sale of surplus knives. I was the last one and got some good buys on your knives and extra stones for my sharpener. I been looking in the paper, and last time you sent me a post card, but I havent seen anything yet.

The 3000 mile round-trip might wipe out most of the savings :grumpy: I'd have to buy LOTS of spydies to make the trip pay :eek:
 
i agree with ted, we overseas addicts need an e-commerce surplus shopping.... pleeeeeez
 
Heres an idea.Take about 5 each of 3 or 4 differant models and offer each model for sell at differant times on the spyderco.com forum dureing the day of the sell.The first 5 to post in each thread saying I will buy it,gets it.
 
Us poor Spyderholics in Australia drool with envy (well at least I do) :p

I'd probably have to buy the whole lot to make the trip there and back worthwhile :(

I'll just have to keep going with my cardboard copies of all the spydies that I want.... only thing is they don't cut so well :rolleyes:

Two questions:

1> what's the general deal? How much are blades discounted, what kinds of stuff are they selling? Anybody been to previous sales care to give a quick lowdown?

2> I'm hoping to pick up some beaters - seconds, cosmetic damage, what have you - tool-box / car / loaner knives. Do they have those at the sale?
