Hi everybody
I think this my first post here, so I would like to say "Hello". I'm a hobbyist knifemaker?/handlemaker from Poland. I make knives from few years, but usually I use blades from other makers and I make handles and scabbards myself. I make knives for re-enactors mostly, especially for Vikings and Slavs, and other knives, like scandis (I like this type of knives), so I wolud like to show few of my works:
Viking/Slavic knives:
Jarl - forged Damasteel (Alek Strzyzewski, Poland), handle: moose antler and black buffallo horn, scabbard : leather and sterling silver fittings
Carbon tool steel, handle: brass, fiber, bone and curly birch; scabbard : leather and brass fittings

Blade carbon damascus by Alek Strzyzewski, Poland; handle: brass, fiber, reideer antler,

Blade: carbon tool steel (similar to 1095) laminated with wrough iron by Alek Strzyzewski, Poland; Handle reideer antler and black buffallo horn

Blade: Damasteel by Maihkle Eklund, Sweden; Handle: reindeer antler, nickelsilver, fiber; scabbard: reindeer antler and leather

Blade: damascus by Mattias Styrefors, Sweden; handle: buffallo horn and stabilized amboina, brass.
And my latest work - "Water-elf" - Blade - Markku Vilppola, carbon steel about 0,8 % C and : pure nickel from side of spine and 15N20 from side of edge. 94 x 25 x 3,9 mm, "zero" grind
Handle - nickelsilver, black vulcanized fiber, reindeer antler (dyed and carved), black buffallo horn. Lenght 125 mm
Scabbard in future ...
