Do you really need all of those?
Granted, that's not a bad price if those are all high-end screwdrivers.

On the knives I have there are about 4 differant torx and a bunch of differant phillips.Plus I have guns too.
Maybe Spyderco could have a smaller set done with just the bits that are most comonly used in knives.

Since Spyderco doesn't really want you taking your knives apart, I can't see them selling something that would help you do it. I'm not real sure why Benchmade did, really.

However, that is a fantastic deal, and it's got a lot of sizes I've been trying to find for a very long time. When it gets there, could you let us know what you think of it?

Thanks,

I will do that. Its not really for takeing them apart. How many times have you needed to tighten or loosen a pivot, take off a clip or tighten a screw up.I had been useing a # 1 phillips to remove clips and it was really a little to big.I finnally decided to order one of these when the wife brought me a little toy phone of the kids to put some bats in and for some reason they used torx screws in it.I did not have any torx except for a 10 and 15 used for car headlights.
I got to looking around the house after I ordered it feeling that 44.00 hole in the wallet and it made me feel a little better when I saw just how many little strange screws there were in every thing.

I have a chapman set of screwdriver bits and got the torx add on and a few others, it more then serves the purposes it was made for. I also have the little benchmade one and if spyderco was going to offer something I like the idea of the benchmade on with just a couple of buts.

I bought a torx driver (#5-16 I belive) and allen wrench set (both craftsmen) for about 14 dollars a set. Still 10 bucks cheaper and are reliable tools.

Just got it.The bits fit exactly. No play at all in the screws.I was at Home depot last night and they had a set with philips and sloted and a set with torx 5-15.They were about 8.00 a set.My dad bought them.Only thing about them is they dont fit the screw heads as well as the Wiha.I guess thats why they are so much higher.Still I guess its not a bad price with all you get in this set.

I bought Wiha tools for maintaining my electrical fencing (swords) gear. High quality stuff.
