Hello,
the spanish laws define the pointed folders as a very dangerous weapon and tells to that a blunt bladeis "more legall" than a pointed one.
For this reason I have asked several times about the idea of blunt self defense folder, a Blunt-Gunting, for exemple.
At this moments I carry a Spy Recue Jr. as a self defense folder, trying to be "in law" all the posible. But I preffer the plain edges over the Spyder edges due to I like to have and maintain a good razor-sharp in my defensive tool, and the Spider-edgeis difficult to re-sharp to a razor-sharp level.
Yesterday I was seeing the Spyderco Cathalog and I notice that the Delica training (red handles) has a AUS-6 steel bladeand I wantto ask for your opinion about sharp this blade. Would this AUS-6 edge be able to be sharpened?, will this blade maintain fine the sharp?.
What about the Drone (Gunting Trainer) GIN-1 blade be able to be sharpened?
What do you think? I am only trying to find a good selfdefense folder "in law" to carry it here, in Spain.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Best wishes from spain,
OSvaldo
