Been going on for years. Trust me with a M4 etc. but anything over a 3" pocket-knife scares the crap out of some anal retentive butt kissing people. Nowadays ANYTHING other than a bayonet is a fight to have. The only reason I got away with my SHBM for years was because of my rank and my wonderful attitude
