I hate that sh-ty dynawood.
I think it should be banned from
knife makeing:mad:
Ok now lets all don`t jump on my a$$
at the same time.:D

I haven't made a knife yet but I just decided to start with a 605 special kit from Koval's. Maybe a couple of them. Does this qualify me? I'll order them right now if it helps. Anyway, this is a pretty cool offer for you to make, thanks.

e-mail your address, and you might want to start with a fixed blade or two before you get into folders. www.knifeandgun.com has some blank blades that you can use these on. good luck!

I can remove more material with a belt grinder than with a file (but that's not always good)!

An old stone makes for a better sanding block than a piece of wood does for flat surfaces.

Nothing is as valuable as patience.

That's it for now.

PS My office is at the 10 and 405 so I can save you the freight.

I appreciate this. Now I've got an excuse to buy some equipment. I sent my address to your email. I think I'll take your word for it and try a fixed blade first. Thanks again.

Now don't be that way!!! There are plenty of uses for that stuff in knifemaking...
1) you can use it to back whatever you are drilling so you don't drill into your drill press table.
2) not bad for sanding blocks if you glue a piece of leather to it to back the sandpaper.
3) If you turn your forge off during lunch, just throw a piece of that stuff in it and let it get burning so you can re-light your burner.
4) if cut to the proper dimensions, you can use it to mix epoxy.
5) place it under one leg of your work bench to level it.
6) use it to throw at your dog when it starts chewing on your giraffe bone.

Any others???
