To the good people at Buck, an idea for the Juno.

I think you guys should do a run of modified juno's with some premium steel, stainless liners and a screw pivet instead of a rivet. also a choice of serated or plain edge.

I really like how the handles small size is countered by the ergonomics, even in larger hands the knife is still solid and substantial feeling. it also lends its self well to being an above average box opener and general utility knife.

I really like the knife as is but i find the blade rubs against the far side of the frame when opening with the blade hole, this would be fixed by the liners.

well, these are just ideas what do you guys think?

I think Buck has a whole bunch of knives that probably already do what you suggest for the Juno. I have a Juno that I got in a lot group, but it doesn't fit my hand well. I'll never use it. Might if the handle was an inch or so longer.

I compare it to a 450 and like the 450 a lot better. If Buck isn't as yet putting premium steel in say a 110 as a production knive, it will never happen in a juno. I am talking about off the shelf Wally and not places like Cabellas or SFO's

The Juno was a lower priced knife that never caught on well.

I am a big fan of metal frames so I have to agree. Unfortunately, the knife is out of the line. If you liked the Juno, you might want to give the new Folding Omni Hunter 10pt a try. The handle ergonomics is great on these. The Omni line is very cool! I saw them last year when the prototypes were going through the shop and fell in love!
They also come in fixed blade, gut hook or no. Just a matter of time before someone figures out how to put an elk handle on one! :D

I really like the juno. It came pretty sharp and its still pretty sharp for me, but i only got it a week ago. The handle feels pretty good to me.
