If you haven't already discovered it, they won't let so much as a tiny little SAK Classic into the City-County Building.

Yeah, I went to a court case once for a class, put my knives away in my truck but kept my Leatherman Micra on my Keys, they would not let me in with it, or hold it. Had to take it back, then come back in. Though when you consider it, it is the main court building for the city, also has alot of the city offices.

Been there and done that. Went down to testify, and left soemthing I shouldn't have in my briefcase :(

It's doubtful you can take ANY blade into ANY courthouse in any county
anywhere in the U.S. now. So save yourself some bother.....leave'em in the
truck.

Went to the Clerks office to do some paperwork. Left the baldes and such in the truck. Got to security and was stoped for an ARC AAA. I was told I could kill somebody with it. I never though I was such a threat.

Don't feel bad, last week I had jury duty in Paterson, NJ. They ran my backpack through the machine 3 times because it had "a lot of metal" in it. It was my mini maglite, which I told them about.

I carry a holster from SureFire, the older nylon ones with the flap that folds over the front containing my L4...anyhoo.....I tried getting through the airport security & after walking through the detector, they wanted me to be re-searched with the hand held. I informed the person of the fact that I had a flashligh on me & they went nuts over it....now come on! Is a flashlight really a weapon? I think not! People get weird about the silliest of things....
Goofy if you ask me......
