The other day when I had asked if ingesting a burr was harmful or not. A few clowns thought it was funny to smear me in the dirt and make stupid jokes at my expense.
It is a crying shame that asking a question such as this in a knife forum gets smeared by the same clowns.
Who have entirely too much time on their hands and only troll other members.
But yet these same jokers never get tired of the classic questions like is D2 good steel? Or is Cold Steel a good knife?
Yeah, try to ask a thought provoking question or a different topic on knives. Instead of the same thing.
And you get shamed by the good ole boy internet commandos who pretty much ruined blade forums since 2010.
Yeah, I been around far longer than you think.
Well, The context of my question was in the thought of working in a kitchen restaurant environment where chefs often swipe their knives repeatedly on a honing steel.
And most do not have the time to sharpen knives with a 3 stone system and a strop to finish it off.
Since they work in a chaotic fast paced kitchen food environment.
And the slight possibility of a burr break off in food may be looked over accidentally.
Anyways, Here is some info I found from a 5 minute internet search from both AI and also websites.
Go ahead and laugh and make your cheap comments. I got plenty of time to weed out people and place them on ignore.
As I am too old and have too much class to entertain fools.
From Random internet search:
Yes, ingesting a knife burr, which is a small, sharp piece of metal that can be produced when sharpening or using a knife, can be harmful.
If swallowed, it could potentially cause injury to the mouth, throat, esophagus, or digestive tract.
Sharp objects can lead to cuts, tears, or other serious injuries, and may also pose a risk of infection.
If someone has ingested a knife burr or any sharp object, it is important to seek medical attention immediately.
The point is. Asking a question about a knife and the possibility of injesting a burr is not a crime. Nor does it make someone stupid.
It's a shame for long time members to shit on other members who ask questions and try to learn. Then they go on for weeks about the question that was asked in random posts from other members.
Which is not even a part of the other members posts or questions.
To anyone who feels need to sling shit at me. Just hit that ignore button. And I will do the same.
I am here to enjoy good company and try to learn. Not deal with narcissistic and spiteful trolls.
