How durable does the powder coasting seem to be? After seeing the 43blk I really want to get it but I want reassurences that it won't become all scratched up and ugly quickly (a few little marks would be fine)

Thanks
Nathan

These things have only been out for a few weeks. Call back in about a year.

I have one and I'm using it in a kydex sheath...

There are almost no wear marks between the pins and first hole, but it hasn't been very long either. I dropped my knife close on the concrete and dings the handle... which sucks, but would've still dinged without the black coating. It is wearing on the bottom of the safe handle where the latch whacks. Just now I got bold and tried to scratch the coating with my fingernail... I cannot scratch it, even pushing hard.

Wow .. that is great ..

Chuck, I saw your reply on the other link .. I didn't know Clay study Indonesian style of fighting? .. and am not really aware of it (the style) ..
