At the present time I am resigning as the President and member of NECKA and leaving the responsibility to Dan Gray.
The HI that was scheduled for 9/9/06 is Cxcl’d.
If anyone would care to go to a IG HI on 9-9-06 Please advise.

I will not deal with the petty S't that has been addressed to me by Dan Gray. I have to much on my plate with my Lady to really give a S't about anything else.
 
Dear George.

I have read a lot of your posts and followed some of the issues you have had in the last few months.
I had to focus on family for the last few years as my Mum was terminal and my son becomes a teenage PIA. I quit being a shop steward at my local/ Health and Safety comittee, and stopped doing freelance Avid gigs in town.
Life is still not a box of chocolates, but me and my wife are on a lot better terms, my son is still a work in progress. and my Mum was made comfortable for her last days, she died in June.

Sometimes we take on stuff that takes more and more of our time until something big hits us out of left field. So my advice is don't burn your bridges and maybe when the home front is more peaceful, take on a little of what you want to do and then stay at that level of involvement. Volunteer orgs want good people to do more and more until they say no.

George nothing was adressed to you, it was a members consern and adressed to all the board, if you took it to be directed to you then you took that apon yourself. if you want to air club business on the net well that's up to you I guess but I will not, as VP of necka I won't do that, what was siad was to the BOD and should be kept that way,,any concerns that members have it's my responceablity to bring them up to the BOD's and is just what I did and only that,, enouph said..it's as simples as that..you brought my name on here and that's what happened.
I'll mention no more about it here..
 
OK---we have two damn good men here and a misunderstanding that can and must be sorted out. I can not believe that Dan would intentionally bad mouth IG and his explanation sounds valid to me. Perhaps you can back off a little IG and re-examine the situation? Slack off the hot sauce for a bit and I am sure that everything will cool over. You gentlemen have been entertaining us with your good natured banter ever since NECKA was founded and we would sure like to keep it that way. ---Sandy---
 
Yep, you two been razzing each other since reptiles ruled the earth. Group hug here, IG and Dan. You guys rock, by the way.

but what was said by me was in concern with-in the club BOD's and my duty to do so, nothing personal was said.. IG took things personally I can't help that..
doing my job for paying members is the job, personality has to stay out of it
unfortunate at times...
as the VP I represent the members of Necka only and as VP it's my job to help make the club strong.. I love IG as brother but that can not stand in the way of my job as VP and the club , IG has stated he has resigned his place as President, it's done..and the way it is..if he harbors misunderstood club business,
may he understand some day it wasn't me..it was the job in behalf of the paying members.... what can I say..:( we are moving on to better the club
and the past concerns of the members of the club. as he said Helen need his attention and it's wearing on him I'm sure . and that's where he should be focused right now I'm guessing..

Damned Yankees........... Can't get along with anybody......

Ya'll all need to come south, marry your cousin (or sister, which ever is the prettiest and has the most teefies), and then we can all get together on Sunday afternoons and eat watermelon and make fun of them "Damned Yankees".

I feel "Qualified" to say this, as I was married to one of those "Yanks" for almost 10 years. (Now lives up around "Higgy-ville", and took 30 years off of my life :) )

If you come down here, don't forget to renew your "green card".

We all love you guys to much let something like a missunderstanding mess things up. Since apparently some potential damage has already been done by IG's resigning announcment, then time will have to sort things out for them and the club. Sure sorry to hear of this, but I'd come right up to where you are and give either one of you the shirt off of my back if you asked me to, and I have my own troubles to.
