Toad in the Freezer??

I was out mowing my lawn this afternoon and decided to go inside to fix me an icy cold diet vanilla coke. I opened up the freezer and started to reach in the ice bin when I noticed something among the cubes that was not a cube. I reached for it and whatever it was had several cubes attached to it. When I removed the chunk of cubes and turned it over I discovered a SPYDERCO TOAD!!!!!!!!!!??????? I thought to myself what is the wide wide world of sports is going on here??

I recently gave my lovely wife, my 18 year old daughter and my 16 year old daughter each a Toad. It started with my wife cooing over one that I ordered so I gave it to her, then my daughters started in so I gave each of them one too. I figured it had to be one of them that misplaced their knife but my what an odd place to misplace a knife....

I discovered that it was my 16 year old. She had put her jeans in the dryer last night to remove wrinkles, and when she took the jeans out, the Toad (still clipped to her pocket I might add) was so hot she couldn't hold it so she opened the freezer and tossed it in the ice bin, covered it with cubes and proceeded to forget about it!

The Toad is no worse for wear, excellent clip to stay in your pocket through a dryer jostling, and still sharp and functional after being too hot to hold and so cold it would stick to your tongue!!

I have heard of toads crawling down into the mud and wintering over even through a hard freeze. Butt I would advise against placing your tongue on one. Tongue warts are not a pretty sight.
