Recommendation? Toaster Door Insulation?

Has anyone attempted to insulate the door of your tempering toaster oven?

How did you do it? What materials did you use and how did you affix it?!

Pictures welcome! Thanks for any ideas. I'm trying to up my toasters efficency and minimize the amount of heat loss. I've lined the shell with kao-wool, but I can imagine most of my heat loss is coming from around the door.

 
I modified mine and touched everything but the front glass door...
Its way more important imho to insulate the other walls of the oven than the front one, my oven went from heating the room to tempering blades LOL
Used ceramic blanket, then lined it with stainless steel mesh and then coated with sodium silicate to leave a hardcoat on the blanket so it became less volatile. Also added a PID instead of the built in controller. Works like a charm now

Pablo has a good modification.
If you want to insulate a glass door, just put a layer of insulation on the outside of the glass. You can use the 1" stuff with foil on one side and tape it in place with AC metal ductwork tape ( Be careful, that stuff will cut you almost as easily as stainless HT foil will).
 
It's not necessarily about conserving heat loss, but another thing that helps to stabilize the heat within the oven by putting something with a good amount of mass inside of it such as a decently sized piece kiln shelf or even a hard fire brick. Our kitchen oven keeps a nice stable temp, but I also use deep metal pan with a piece of kiln shelf inside and put my blade inside that and then I cover it all with foil to avoid any potential sudden heat rises.
