I made this hawk out of a broken 3 pronged hand grubber. 2 of the 3 prongs were broken off and it still had the curvature. The dang thing was hardened to the point that I ruined 3 new titanium bits on it before detempering the middle of the blade once I got it hammered out flat. Filed the spike to a nice false edge and put a heller of an edge on the chopper side. She is crisp! I think it looks like a galactic tobacco knife. Anyway, I call it “Tabacco Hawk”. It’s a first and maybe last for my fabricating skills, lol. I think I’ll stick to my Kelly and Craftsman restorations. Thanks for looking at the Tobacco Hawk.
