I wouldn't tell Chris at GEC what I was doing when it happened and I'm not telling any of you either........

$25 to fix it if anyone's wondering.

Now I have to figure out what to carry on the meantime. I haven't carried anything else for so long, I've kind of forgotten any other knives. Lol

Just off the top of my head I'm going to guess it was not normal knife duty that did that. :)

Well it's obvious to me. You broke it off in the ignition of a 1974 Ford Maverick. You should really know better. ;)

Well, that's a tough break. :p

If only you had something to take it's place...

I don't see a broken blade. I see the perfect opurtuniy to add an extra small coping blade.:D
When life gives you lemons...

It ain't a pry bar (to pry anything), doncha know! :) You could grind it to use as a screw driver. You certainly wouldn't be the first to do that either.

I snapped one blade a long time ago. Over two decades ago. Haven't been tempted to apply lateral force to a knife blade since.

Well, you're man enough to post it up, and that's pretty impressive. Live and learn. I haven't ever quite taken out a blade like you, but I've broken a tip off a sheepsfoot before, probably doing something I knew was dumb (about 10 milliseconds before it snapped off).
